UNBOXING ARCHER AND OLIVE SEPTEMBER SUBSCRIPTION BOX

This is my second time getting a subscription box from Archer and Olive. The last time was in June, and I loved everything from that subscription box. Since every stationery subscription box is so different, I was anxious to receive this one and wasn’t sure if I was going to like it.

Every stationery subscription box is filled with a mixture of limited edition items, and a few never been released products.

The first thing I noticed about this box, is that is smaller than the previous one. It also didn’t have any packaging filler inside as it was full of goodies. This is a plus for me, I like to see items fill the box, instead of mostly packaging filler.

Here is everything out of the box:

WEEKLY CALENDAR STICKER ROLL

This is the first item I got out of the box. It came in perfect timing for me to add to my current weekly spread in my bullet journal.

The only thing I didn’t like about the sticker roll is that it has a glossy finish. You’d need to be careful with the pens you’re using when it comes to these stickers. I use my trusty monoline studio pens from the Pigeon letters, which work perfectly! But you don’t be able to use gel pens as they’ll smudge in these stickers.

STICKER BOOKLET

These stickers are gorgeous and come with the color scheme of this box theme as well as the geometric designs and patterns. They have a transparent base and a matte finish, which makes them great for any paper color.

MINI DOT GRID JOURNALS – A6 (THREE)

These are the cutest mini versions of the bigger journals. They come in kraft, blackout, and white.

I love all things stationery, but sometimes things as cute as these little journals make me not want to use them so I don’t ruin them!

I’m still not sure how I’ll use these little guys. If you have any suggestions, make sure to leave them in the comments below.

THREE ADHESIVE POCKETS

This might be one of the items I’m not sure I’d buy if it didn’t come in the stationery box. But now that I have them, I’ll definitely put them to good use.

One idea I have in mind is to add these geometric pockets to the end or front of my journal. They seem to be perfect for memory keepsakes, save any important receipts

INSPIRATIONAL PRINT

This is a print with a beautiful inspirational quote and it’s perfect to hang it somewhere or add it to your planner where you can see it every day as a reminder.

COLORING SHEETS

There are five different coloring sheets included in the box and came on a gorgeous geometrical sleeve.

Coloring is great for you to relieve stress or anxiety to relax your mind.

CALLIOGRAPH BRUSH PENS AND PRACTICE LETTERING SET

This is the item I was most excited about in this box! This is the first time Archer and Olive are releasing these brush pens. The box where these brush pens and the practice lettering were stored is so beautifully designed!

I love that these pens are dual-tipped brush pens. They are perfect for lettering, coloring, and even for watercolor lettering. The larger

The large brush side tip of these pens compares to the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. The small size tip compares to the Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens, which will be perfect for beginners.

You can also see in the image below, how these Calliograph pens compare in size with the Tombow Dual Brush pens.

Bonus:

I haven’t reviewed it yet but came with the box, is the 3-month subscription to Club A&O, and instructions on how to use the materials to create your own layouts and art.

Final Thoughts:

I definitely think this box is well worth the price and I recommend it to anyone who loves the stuff that came inside it! Everything single piece of the stationery products included with this subscription box is super high quality. I love the attention to detail of every product inside the box. I loved the custom debossed shipping box, complete with environmentally friendly packaging.

When I’m purchasing a product I also look at the company overall and what they stand for. Archer and Olive cares for mental health and the well-being of their customers. This is a women-owned and environmentally conscious company, so that makes it a big plus for me.

Hope this post was helpful for you to decide whether or not this box is worth it for you to buy! And tag me on Instagram to let me know if you end up getting the subscription box!
