Thank You Card with Bubble Lettering Graffiti Style Step-by-Step
Step 1: Sketch the Bubble Letters
Use a pencil to lightly sketch the word “THANK YOU” in block lettering first, then add outlines with rounded edges to create the bubble lettering style.
Don’t worry about perfection—we’ll add personality with the next steps!
I preferred to do the word “THANK” first, then the word “YOU” to make it easier.
Step 2: Color and outline
We’re going to use a fun coloring style for this card. First, draw two wavy lines in the center of the phrase, as shown in the picture below.
I used bright pinks and turquoise Arteza Everblend Alcohol markers for a fun, bold look.
Step 4: Add Shadows and Highlights
Add shadows and highlights to make the bubble lettering pop!

Step 4: Add Graffiti Effects
Add drips and splatters using a darker shade of pink or a darker shade of one of the colors you used to color the letters.
Using a white Posca paint pen or a gel pen, add highlights on the bubble letters opposite to where we added the shadows.
Using a metallic silver paint pen, add an outline to the words to make the lettering pop even more!
