FATHER’S DAY DIY CARD STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL
STEP 1: MEASURE AND CUT YOUR CARDSTOCK
I did this beforehand. If you have a full cardstock, cut one piece 10×7 in and another one 6×4 in.
STEP 2: LETTERING AND DRAWING
Let’s start lettering and drawing! I made a pencil sketch first of the ribbon and the lettering to make sure it was centered. First, I created the banner to make sure it was centered on the cardstock. Then, I lettered the Happy Father’s Day around and inside the banner.
Last, I went over the pencil sketch with my Tombow MONO Drawing Pen.
To add more details and fun to the piece I drew a frame around the border of the design.
Watch my step-by-step video for directions!
STEP 3; ADHERE THE 2 PIECES OF CARDSTOCK TOGETHER.
Put permanent adhesive around the edges of the white cardstock and adhere it to the blue cardstock.
STEP 4: ADD EMBELLISHMENTS
If you like to keep the card simple, you don’t have to do anything else.
But after I put the card together, I decided to add more embellishments to make it more fun.
