PLAN WITH BE – SEPTEMBER BULLER JOURNAL SET UP: ABSTRACT AND BOTANICAL DRAWING THEME
Hey friend, I’m super excited to share with you my bullet journal set up for this month. Even though September is the start of autumn here in Florida, USA, I wanted to keep this month’s theme a little different, so I went with an abstract and botanical drawing theme with pastel colors for September.
See exactlyย how to I made this Abstract and Botanical Drawings Bullet Journal set up in myย plan with me videoย (or keep scrolling if you prefer a printable step-by-step photo tutorial):
Before we get started if you need help with your lettering, I do have a video that you can check up here where I show you 5 different ways you can letter September.ย
It also comes with a FREE Calligraphy worksheet that I made for you. You can find it at my Free Resource Library or by filling out the form below:
I made worksheets for every month of the year where I show you 5 different ways that you can letter each month in calligraphy and you can also find them inside the freebie library here.
Alright, let’s get started, and let me show you my abstract and botanical drawing bullet journal setup for September.ย

SEPTEMBER MONTHLY COVER PAGE
CALENDAR PAGE AND MASTER TO-DO LIST
As far as the calendar, I don’t do the traditional one. I write down the dates and the corresponding days of the week and I write down my important dates in this vertical format.
Next to my important dates page, I usually do a Master To-do List, which is basically a brain dump for the month where I like to write down just everything that I plan to do within the month.
MONTHLY GOALS PAGE & SOCIAL MEDIA GROWTH PAGE
Moving on, I do my goals page. I find that it’s easier for me to stay on track when I write down the goals that I want to accomplish for the month.ย
On the Social Media Growth page, I like to record numbers for the social media accounts I focus on. Things like where I start and where I end, the goals I have, and things I notice or I can improve on.
As you can see the whole theme is of these abstracts shapes combined with the botanical drawing.ย
DAILY GRATITUDE PAGE
Gratitude is super important! Being grateful for what we have helps us appreciate everything no matter how small! So I like to record one thing a day I’m grateful for.
WEEKLY SPREAD
For my weekly spread, I always like to start by noting the current week we are on. Then writing my focus for the week, which is the one thing I want to accomplish for the week.
I love starting my weeks on Mondays instead of Sundays and I leave less room for the weekends as I like to go with the flow and not have a superstructure weekend.
And there you have it, my abstract and botanical theme for September!
I hope you enjoy this theme setup and it gives you some inspiration to create your own on your bullet journal! If you re-create it, make sure to tag me @vialdesigns on @vialdesigns
